It began in a Laundromat

Two young migrants once met in a London Laundromat and thus begins Mariam Crichton's fascinating tale. This episode of Gone Workabout traces her life growing up in a Housing estate through to CEO and plenty along the way.

Mariam is an energetic, outspoken and yet humble tech leader, based in Brighton, UK. She is a Non-Executive Director of Wired Sussex, a mum of one, Speaks widely on issues of Leadership in Technology and likes to paint in her spare time.
